They burden the actor with more thinking/remembering and less spontaneous action. PATH™ is not about manufacturing a bunch of line readings and pre-planned, fake moments, then attempting the impossible task of remembering all those LIES during the actual audition and somehow making them appear natural –

I’ll train you to truly go after One Honest Thing during your audition. Something that is very specific and personal to you, that grips your soul, and is exhilarating and fun! Something that is 100% do-able, that you are really trying to get from your reader/scene partner, and is so consuming that it allows you to say “F&*k It!” to all mental and emotional distractions. And let it rip! What the casting director sees is a real human being, honest and alive, brilliantly and passionately going after something that has deep meaning. The casting director says to themselves – “WOW! That’s not someone playing a character – that person just IS! They ARE the character – I believe everything they’re doing! It almost seems like they’re making it up as they go – I can’t take my eyes of ’em!” This is what PATH™ will give you!
